In the “Great Commission” of Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus clearly lays down the obligation for all believers to introduce others to His saving grace, and to disciple them. “Then Jesus came to them and said, ’All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’.”

We interpret this to mean that as individual believers, as the local church and as His church universal, we are called to spread the gospel of Jesus to “all nations.” As the local church, we carry out this mandate by prayer and financial support of worthy “Missions” around the world and locally. We believe the Bible teaches a high priority and urgency for world missions.
