Brandon Evans
Teaching Pastor

Brandon is a Teaching Pastor at RCF and the newest member on staff. He was born and raised less than a mile from RCF’s campus (and even attended preschool here). Jesus grabbed Brandon’s heart while he was playing baseball in college. He was invited to a Bible study of the book of John by a few of his teammates, and his life has been on a trajectory of following Christ ever since. Brandon has served as a pastor since 2012, and his goal in ministry is to help those around him embrace the truth of God and learn to love like Jesus.

Brandon and his wife Caitlin married in 2011. Their three kids, Zephyr (4) Gwen (2), and Quentin (weeks) give them immense joy. Brandon holds a BS in Biology from the University of Nevada and an MA in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in New Testament Context at Northern Seminary with Scot McKnight. He enjoys watching baseball and discussing stats (including how overrated a pitcher’s W-L record is), traveling (he has been to all 50 States), reading, and writing. He and Caitlin enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle and spend most of their free time figuring out how to parent.
